The environment friendly technology of the plant is based on application of "MEMBRANE" for ion selection in the electrolysis phase.

In membrane technology, some of particles passes irreversible from micronized porosity of membrane by chemical or electrical potential like as concentration difference.
In chlorpars Co. that uses membrane technology, in Anode, brine can't pass from membrane, only Na+ & H
3o+ can pass toward catholyte. therefore Cl- can't pass toward catholyte to destroy product. in this case, in Anode Cl- is oxidized to Cl2 and in Cathode H2 is formed.

In catholyte OH- react with Na+ that passed and formed NaOH and concentrated brine displaced with dilated brine in anolyte.
